AbakaTickets is a marketplace operated by Abaka Media in Kampala, Uganda. It connects event organizers with people who want to attend their events. By using AbakaTickets you agree to these terms.
Buying tickets
- Each ticket is a licence to attend the event, issued by the organizer.
- Your QR code is valid for one entry. Keep it private — whoever presents it first is admitted.
- Prices are in Ugandan shillings (UGX) and are confirmed before you pay.
Organizers
- Organizers are responsible for their events, including accuracy of details, safety, permits and delivering what was advertised.
- AbakaTickets deducts the agreed platform fee from ticket sales before payout.
- We may remove events that are misleading, unlawful or breach these terms.
Payments
Payments are processed by Pesapal. AbakaTickets does not store card details.
Liability
AbakaTickets is not the organizer of events listed on the platform and is not responsible for their cancellation, changes or conduct, except as described in our refund policy.
